Hi, i have the urge to go digging which i first started in the early seventies i have not dug for 30 years but i did love it,
i used to dig a site in bury pimole but it has houses on it now.
Anyone living near whitefield manchester going to a dig soon please contact me if you are happy taking me along,
Happy to dig all day any weekend,
Or if you dont mind passing on local digs that would be great to.

There is an undug one in Pendle it was on the tv wednesday night on that programme about the housing association they wanted to build on a green on a 1940,s council estate but after testing the ground found out it was a deep filled in quarry [with 1900,s refuse] so they have abandoned the site!

im in blackley only been diggin for two weeks would like to go diggin with someone local.
Hi billdill ,Northenlight is usually the one to ask about digs locally,but i know that he has loads of people wanting to do the same so cant allways accomodate everyone,have you only been digging for 2 weeks as you are new to digging or just getting back into it,and have you had any decent finds as yet,if you know any good sites yourself let Northenlight know.hes allways interested in swapping info.
